5 Things You Should NOT Avoid Spending Your Money Into

I know saving money is really important in an unstable economic nowadays, but there are things where you really have to pay in order to avoid spending a lot of MORE money in a later day or to avoid HORIBBLE situation to your future. Read on!

1. Paying for Your Maintenance
Good example for this one is sending your car to the maintenance a.k.a. servicing your car. You really should avoid this big mistake. It's true that you saving your money now but when your car breakdown in the future, you're gonna pay a big buck to repair it. There's another item I need to mention here. Paying for your sewerage maintenance. One good company taking care of this is Indah Water, for only 27 cent per day, you can have a peace of mind. For more information read their website : )

2. Paying for Your Taxes
Money you've got from Nuffnang/Blogging also accounted to be paid for the taxes! This because it will be considered as income to the person. But not all the money need to be paid for taxes. Only if your income for annually is more than RM25,501 then you're entitle for paying taxes. More information click here to read the details. So what if you don't pay your taxes? It's okay if you don't get caught by the LHDN officer. But if you do, they will do the calculation for your taxes from all the way back since you start your job or from your last payment to them. Scary, huh?

3. Saving for Your Retirement
This really a big mistake you should really avoid in your life. We'll never know what will happen to us in the future. So to better safe than sorry, you should spend some of your money into retirement fund example like EPF. Luckily our government make it compulsory for any employee to pay for their EPF scheme. But I recommended you to save for your own additional fund; because like EPF, they have their own conditions in order for you to withdraw your own money. Click here to see EPF types of withdrawal's condition.

4. Paying for Your Insurance
Not everyone can pay for their own expenses when it come to the medical. And I mean a big medical treatment like surgical, theraphy, expensive drugs and many more! And that's where paying insurance really come in handy. There's a lot of packages with different amount of payment by different of insurance company out there. Just choose your destiny : )

5. Buying A Good Meal
People need something fast and edible to eat as we're moving in the world full of fast technologies and people who don't have even time for themself. But make sure you control what you eat before you regret it later. Eating fast food is much more dangerous than you know. So let's stop spending in the wrong way and start buying a good meal okay? Chow time.

5 Things You're Recommend to Buy in Used/2nd Hand

In response to my previous entry regarding on how to save your money, now I would like to elaborate more by posting on the 5 things you're recommended to buy second hand. : )

1. Cars
You can find good used car like anywhere nowaday. If you're lucky enough, maybe the age of the car was not more than one year or without even a scratch! But make sure you do a thorough checking to the car like sending to PUSPAKOM or at least bring your own mechanic to do the checking. This to avoid you being cheated by the seller and you better be save than sorry.

2. Clothes
Even now I still buying at the 'bundle' because it is nice and full variety of cloths. You can get cheaper jeans and still in good condition. But I recommend you to wash the cloths first before you put it on. But now you can find not only shirts or jeans in the 'bundle' but even the curtain, bed sheet, pillow sheet or even shoes! Nice isn't it?

3. Books/Comics/Magazines
Bookstore like Popular, Borders always have discount on the old books at their store. Even in Penang while I was studying there, I came across into one store in Komtar if I'm not mistaken where they sell full volume of Dragon Ball comics at the cheap price! Or if you like magazine, I know one place in e@curve where they sell old magazine at only RM5 (but I forget the store name).

4. Electrical Appliances
You can find these type of used items at any shop selling electrical items. Various things can be found including air-cond, fan, television, radio or etc. Most of these items sometime was recondition item which mean they have damage before but had been repaired by the shop mechanic. So make sure you checked them first.

5. Furniture
I would really love to buy used item from these category. Websites like mudah.my really make the transaction easy for us, just like its name. Sometimes when people moving to other country, the want to sell big furniture instead of moving them to that place. I have one case where one of my friend buying from someone who move out to Kedah because of his job. The combination of TV rack, cabinet and television set for a price of below RM1000!

In conclusion, buying used or second-hand items really save you a lot of money. Trust me, I tried. : )

How to Saving Your Budget/Money

Try these tips to save your money :

1. Never buy new what you can buy used.
There are a lot of second-hand shop for anything including car, furniture, cloth, handphone, eletrical appliances and etc. Make sure you check first the condition of the item before you decide to buy it though.

2. Never buy this generation when last generation will do.
One item will suit very suitably for this point is handphone. Nowaday new generation of handphone emerge like mushroom after the rain. iPhone is one best example for this one. First iPhone introduced in 2007, iPhone 3G then in 2008 and next was iPhone 3GS in 2009. And latest was last year when Apple introduced iPhone 4 to the market. But there's not much different in their function except all the iPhone can make the call, right?

3. Always ask for a lower price.
This is my favourite. : ) Remember to always negotiate your price with the seller.

4. Stop paying for name brands.
What's in a name? Often nothing more than a higher cost. Paying more is OK if the higher cost means higher quality. But it's not OK to pay more simply to help pay for some company's annoying commercials.

5. Share with your friends and neighbors.
Share your item like ladder, shovel to the neighbor is a great way to deepen your relationship with them. But not all item can be share with them, only the small one like the example I mention above.

6. Try to make it or fix it yourself.
Instead of buying your broken fan, you can try send it for repair or even try to repair it yourself if you have knowledge in doing so. Or you can make you own table in the lower cost rather than buying it at the store. There's a lot of Doing-It-Yourself (DIY) section in the store where you can use your imagination to reality! In this case I suggest IKEA at Mutiara Damansara. I love to go there with my wife. : )

7. Always use the Internet.
This one means you need to do the survey first before decide to buy them. Internet is full of resources and you can get almost anything from it nowadays like from Blogs! : )

8. Sell before you buy.
Why you need to buy when you can sell first what you don't need in your store room? Despite it can save you a lot of money, it can also help to monitor which item you still want to use and which one you want to get rid of. What you don't need maybe useful for someone else life. They can also saved their money instead of  buying for the new one (point no 1).

Rose Colors and Their Meanings

Their beauty is known to the whole world. These are roses true colour and meaning. I only know red roses mean love but never know the rest of them!. Enjoy the reading :)

Red: Love and Romance
One of the most universal of all symbols, the red rose represents true love. It has also appeared throughout history and across cultures as both a political and religious symbol.

Yellow: Friendship, Joy, Get Well
Throughout history, yellow has been closely associated with the sun, making these roses excellent for cheering people up. Yellow roses send a message of appreciation and platonic love without the romantic subtext of other colors. The color represents feelings of joy and delight.
Pink: Love, Gratitude, Appreciation
Pink carries with it the connotation of grace and elegance, as well as sweetness and poetic romance.
Dark pink roses are symbolic of gratitude and appreciation, and are a traditional way to say thanks.
Light pink roses are associated with gentleness and admiration, and can also be used as an expression of sympathy.

White: Purity, Innocence, Sympathy, Spirituality
Early tradition used white roses as a symbol for true love, an association which would later become the hallmark of the red rose. Also known as the bridal rose, the white rose is a traditional wedding flower. In this sense, white represents unity, virtue, and the pureness of a new love. White roses are also associated with honor and reverence, which makes them a fitting memorial for a departed loved one.

Orange: Desire, Enthusiasm and Passion
A literal mixture of yellow and red, orange roses were seen as a bridge between friendship symbolized by yellow roses and love represented by red roses. They can be an expression of fascination, or a gift to say 'I'm proud of you.'

Lavender: Enchantment, Majesty, Love at First Sight
The color purple has a traditional association with royalty. In this regard, shades of lavender roses suggest an air of regal majesty and splendor.

8 Workout Mistakes We Shouldn't Make

Ini antara mistakes yang kita selalu lakukan apabila ingin menguruskan badan ataupun bila pergi ke gym. So make sure to avoid these mistakes by reading below solutions. :)

Mistake #1: Not Eating Enough

Solution: Eat a well-balanced snack that involves proteins and carbohydrates at least two hours before you hit the gym.

Mistake #2: Not Resting Enough

Solution: Simple—get some rest! Working out three to four times a week is definitely sufficient when trying to meet your goals. On the days you don’t exercise, if you still want to be active, take the kids to the park, walk the dog or work in the garden. You can also maintain a healthy mindset by cooking nutritious meals for yourself.

Mistake #3: Not Incorporating Resistance Training

Solution: Don't be afraid to approach a trainer. That's what they're there for! He or she can demonstrate how to use the equipment and also discuss how to incorporate those types of workouts into your fitness plan two to three times per week.

Mistake #4: Slacking on Technique and Form

Solution: If you don’t work out with a personal trainer, feel free to ask them questions while you’re at the gym. Find out how many sets, reps and rests between sets you need. Trainers can also give you feedback on your form. Another great source is the Internet—"you can discover information on technique, form and effectiveness of different exercises for your body type,” Castañeda notes.

Mistake #5: Not Varying the Types of Workouts

Solution: Make sure you vary frequency, intensity and repetitions. Another great way to get the most out of your workout is to try new things. Check out your gym’s schedule for cardio and strength-training classes that strike your fancy, and take advantage of exercise DVDs as well as websites, like Exercise TV.

Mistake #6: Setting Unrealistic Goals

Solution: When crafting your workout plan, set goals that are attainable and realistic. "This way there’s a better chance you won’t give up and won’t be disappointed,” says Sims.
Mistake # 7: Not Stretching

Solution: Yoga is one of the easiest ways to incorporate stretching into your fitness program. “The poses will help you release a significant amount of tension in your muscles and will help you feel more relaxed," Castañeda says.

Mistake #8: Not Completely Focusing on Your Workout

Solution: Leave your worries in the locker room and “simply allow yourself five minutes to hit the ‘reset' button," suggests Castañeda. To clear your head before a workout, "sit down, close your eyes and breathe in and out for a few minutes. This will calm the central nervous system and promote overall relaxation, which in turn will allow you to dive into your workout and feel great,” she adds.
